Newt Gingrich in Rosemont: I'm staying in race
“I am staying in this speed,” former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich told 100 people at the Donald Stephens Council Center in Rosemont.
Fresh from his imperfect-place finishes in the Alabama and Mississippi GOP presidential primaries, Gingrich flew to Illinois Wednesday to try to give-away this state from front-runner Mitt Romney.
If Gingrich is contemplating any leaving from the race in the wake of his inability to win more than two states, he gave no advice.
Gingrich offered some of his trademark appraisal of the news media as he explained why he was appearing with a car that had puny cameras mounted on the hood and bin. The MKTrac cameras scan allow plates to look for stolen cars, or cars connected to kidnapping cases.
“It’s the correct illustration of why I am staying in this race,” Gingrich said. “This is something I wanted to say for our friends in the media, who will take it back to Washington, New York and elsewhere.”

Madam Demagogue,
I rise to present the Railway Budget for 2012-13.
I take to be it a great privilege for me to head the powerful and vibrant railway family and these days my maiden Railway Budget which is also the first year of the 12th Five Year Drawing. I am grateful to the Hon'ble Prime Minister for his inspiring handling and support in formulating the Budget.
I am also thankful to the Hon'ble Finance Minister and the UPA Chairperson, Smt. Sonia Gandhi for their hold up under. It would not have been possible for me to present this budget had I not received the reinforce and confidence of my party, All India Trinamool Congress, and its chairperson, Mamata Banerjee, to whom I shall always corpse grateful. Above all, I am grateful to as it is only because of their blessings that I have been competent to make it to this Parliament.
