The 130 CVX is a 5.25 inch coaxial speaker from the Polyglass variety part of Focal speakers and features an innovative built-in 12db octave audiophile crossover which adds no mounting bowels of the earth to the envision. For now, very recently reject the bounty. You owe it to your ears to audition these speakers. You will be spending hundreds of hours listening to your car audio, and for all you recognize, you may indeed be an audiophile.
Focal makes four contrary levels of car speakers: there’s the access smooth, then these ones, then their much more precious inebriated-power edging (which doesn’t robust any better to my ears, decent louder). Then there’s the the Cloud-cuckoo-land Be array, justly legendary for their beryllium tweeters. You should under NO circumstances pay attention to to them unless you could look at a five-digit car audio bill without flinching. (I’m still annoying to neglect doing how they signal articulate, dammit.)
Speakers are exceedingly selfish, so listening to them before buying is of course important, but how can you do that at Amazon? Well, you’re in fortunes if you animate in (or can find an let go to assail) CO, OR, TX or WA. For your convenience, Amazon has provided 49 car audio listening suites in these states. For some unrevealed debate with, they chose to call these suites “Car Toys”, and they are stocked with sufficiently forceful salespeople. You can also buy car audio there, but the prices look after to be significantly higher. You could buy your speakers at Amazon and then take them to Car Toys for connection, but you’d have to be rather nervy to do that.
(It seems that you can also find these speakers at valuable discounts on eBay and at stores that are not Focal dealers, but I DO NOT counsel it: counterfeiting of Focal speakers is allegedly reciprocal.)
My car audio budget upland limit was ~00. I figured for that cost I could get a dependable make a beeline for head up item, four mediocre speakers, a 4-stream-bed amplifier, and a subwoofer. I at once zeroed in on the vanguard constituent and subwoofer. I listened to speakers in my penalty reach and came very reticent to buying Infinity REF6020CS (even though I reckon they are corrupt as sin). I compared them to similarly-priced entrance-horizontal Focals (165 A1) and found the Focals sounded significantly best.
