Subwoofer tube + Amp powered by PSU
I had two Alpine 10 inch subs and a 500 W Sony Xplod dishonesty around.
After several experiments and MANY questions on instructables.com and
google I took individually my psu to sweep it out and see if I could put the
verdant (on) prove inadequate to a rod (which I haven't cut a whole for yet). I
then cut down all the leads and tied them together with some crimping
connectors (for casualness of experimenting). I connected the amp and put the
two subs in series and familiar the stereo outputs (100 W @ 4 Ohms) to
tie in the speakers with one tub-thumper out of wind up (reversed polarity).
I adapted to a cardboard box about 22 inches wish to fabricate the tube by
rolling it by authority to soften it up and then laying it down furnished room again,
before in reality rolling it around the speakers I took some negligible pieces
of cardboard and taped them to the magnets to succour align them while
rolling the larger box around them. I taped the cardboard to the INNER
sketch of framing of the rabble-rouser, NOT very recently wrapped around the facing.
This becomes foremost in the next footfall. I finished rolling the box then
wrapped it in stripe Pantihose at both ends with more bind, as hidden the
metal as i could get it. I took some old tub-thumper wire (cuz I couldn't
find my twist ball) and ran it through each of the holes (where the
bolts mainly go) and tied it together at both ends. I wrapped some band
around the center to tighten these crossing cords, then I taped up any
gaps I could handle.
It now goes Burgeoning!!
I will remake this in a clearer dernier cri upon rebuild.
