Cone locality doesn’t always win, the RMS, box type, box physique supremacy, sub supremacy, etc affair. Alpine makes subtle subs, but the Type X isn’t the most successfully choosing here. I’d get the 2-12 Type R’s. Put them in a high-pitched-importance box and give them the RMS they distress and you’ll be lovely. Also, vibrations are corrupt look, so when a car rattles that’s bass that’s being mislaid.
Edible fortuity!
2 12inch alpine type r with a t1000 amp ported box in a 2006 lessen blazer lt with all exhibit air or 2 15inch type r subs in a 1998 lincoln continental with a t1500 amp (the continental has a closed casket) ported box as well i have a yen for to recognize which one would be louder because the pull blazer would have all oped air but the lincoln would have more power !
The 12′s are effective to furnish a punchy bass, where as the 15′s are more for beyond low notes. Race relieve air is not normally recommended for subs unless they were designed for that intention. Most order some type of box. A sealed box would give you a cleaner astute, the ported would fabricate a sterile rugged but requires a hardly any more power, and then the border-antiquated would give you the most bang or blast since the bass waves are being reflected off of Plexiglas in most setups. In this box, I would go for the ported. Put your subs in a box!!
Hell-fire no. Power Acoustik power ratings are high-flown beyond sentiment. That amp is nowhere related 2000 watts of power, and if it was, it would be overkill on two Type Rs. Those paragon Rs are dual 4ohm subs, so when wired together they either engender a 1ohm encumbrance, or a 4ohm pressure. Most amps aren't 1ohm unwavering, and most amps aren't very sturdy at 4ohms. If you fancy 1ohm soundness, I would go with a Rockford P1000-1bd. My concubine runs his Rs (same original ) off that amp, and it pushes 1400 watts RMS @ 1ohm, or 700 watts to each sub, pushing them to their full dormant. Perpetual at 4ohms means greater amp expertise and amp longevity. Complication is most amps wont' strike dismissal 1200 watts (600 to each R) at that impedance, except higher end amps like the Alpine PDX-M12 or the JL 1000/1. Two of the crush amps out there, but not seedy. With power acoustik, dual, lanzar, legacy, SPX, soundstream and other waste brands, they aren't CEA rated for power, so the proprietorship by a hair's breadth throws whatever count into the air to rip off people buy. There's a understanding those amps are so much cheaper than others. Don't buy a junk amp. YOu've got two honourableness subs, and the amp is the most top-level part of your system. Go with Alpine M2000, JL 1000/1, Alpine PDX-M12, or Rockford P1000-bd and you'll unusually get the full developing of those subs.
