Capacity, manufacturer of various PC peripherals, announced today the SW-G2.1 3000 Gaming Speakers – its latest access in the GX Gaming series of products. These provocative black and gold speakers yield 15 watts each while a 6.5 inch powered subwoofer pumps out 40 watts (with frequencies as low as 35Hz). Fantabulous Scott, that’s 70 watts sum total!

A separate front control box allows you to regulate volume and bass. There are also hookups for headphones and microphone. As if that wasn’t enough Virtuoso has also added RCA jack inputs so you can jam-in MP3/CD players and even gaming consoles! Sounds Sunday to me (pun intended)!

Genius claims that the SW-G2.1 3000 (try saying that 10 times immediately) offers booming bass and breakable middle and high range sounds. I can’t mark time to get my mitts on a set! More details below:

The HP Pavilion dm4 Beats Copy does a lot for a little. The moderately priced laptop boasts powerful, striking design, powerful speakers, a bounteous allotment of external ports, proper battery life, and an Intel Heart i5 processor. It's not perfect in every way, but it's a solid laptop for the bustling audiophile on a budget, with an eye for the urbane.

The Beats stamp is endorsed by rapper and hip-hop producer Dr. Dre. So it should chance upon as no surprise that style and high-calibre sound components come benchmark.

The aesthetic appeal of the slim net profit and matte-black, brushed-aluminum suit of our 14-inch review example can't be denied. The dm4, which starts at US$900 and peaks out at around US$2000 fully primed, looks and feels great. Typing on the backlit red-on-deadly keys is a breeze. An inch thick, this 4.5-produce all-purpose laptop slips neatly into any m-sized bag without weighing you down.

PC maker Gigabyte reveals a new high-powered gaming laptop and a sleek Ultrabook

For their Ultrabooks Gigabyte, understandably, is intriguing a different approach to outfitting them compared to their new gaming notebook. Internally and externally Gigabyte has tried to beget the most portable laptops it can that offer competitiveByperformance and features. The resulting effect is a pair of 14-inch HD+ (1600×900) LED Backlight notebooks that column Intel’s latest Centre i5 and i7 ULV processors (Ivy Bridge), USB 3.0, Thunderbolt (unmandatory), up to 1TB HDD storage or fast SSD storage, Bluetooth 4.0, a Wi-Fi radio with two antennas for a stronger wireless internet union, and discrete NVIDIA GeForce 6 Series distinct graphics (GT 640M).

The size of the Ultrabooks is also smaller and more concentrated than the gaming notebook and most other 15-inch notebooks. Gigabyte reports their U2442N and U2442V Ultrabooks are 18.5-20.5mm thick and start at 1.5Kg for authority.

Compared to other Ultrabooks like the ASUS Zenbook UX31 or Toshiba Portege Z830/Z835 the Gigabyte notebooks are competitive, but they don’t measure either in weight or thinness comparisons. I indulge the Gigabyte models for being a little more thick and thick because they actually include 14-inch screens and discontinuous NVIDIA graphics instead of 13.3-inch screens and integrated Intel graphics –Intel graphics are complete but not better than discrete solutions from NVIDIA or AMD.
