This amp is the revised model of the 8104D. If you interpret those reviews, you will see associated reviews… on the produce.. they eulogy the power and deep plumb mark… on the bad they squawk about overheating issues. I hardly installed this amp today… cant outline you wide reasearch ilk info but I have a JL 500/1 to merit comparison with to. This amp says 500 watts equitable like my JL but for the stereo noobs out there… these are NOT in the same level… JL is higher end audiophile superiority while this kenwood was made for budget-minded people who still need rank. This amp pushed my JL 12w6v2 equitable charge but I had a racking span getting the farther ahead fair normal… I was getting distortion at higher volumes but it may have been due to my MP3 gamester being up too cheerful. This amp did not impart my car lights dim like the JL does and I dont have a capacitor either. Inclusive serious excellence and for the toll… I dont recognize if there are others that can approach… Favourably recommended for someone on a budget(like most of us these days) who still wants to get a scant more out of their system without breaking the bank.
