Markum caught only four bass all day, but it was enough to run off out the competition. The 27-year-old finished with a 16.22-beat bag anchored by a 7.59-pound kicker that proved to be the dealmaker in his pleasing the Boater Division. For the victory, he took accommodations $2,755, plus a $1,000 gratuity from Mercury and $500 from MotorGuide.
“I was na looking for a place to get out of the north blather,” Markum admitted. “I was looking for huge trees that would block the wind so I could in fact make casts and feel the fish when it hit. About five minutes into the contest, I had a 7.59-pounder on that hit a Rat-L-Trap in 2.5 feet of water. I only stayed in 2.5 feet of tone down all day and threw a Rat-L-Trap most of the day. Later, I threw a inadequate grub at docks. I only caught one bass in the afternoon.”
Jaye Victorious In Alabama ABA Tournament
Kelley W. Jaye of Dadeville caught five bass weighing 15.28 pounds to win the ABA Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series Alabama South Segment 2 season opener on Lake Martin .
Jaye anchored his bag with a 5.10-pounder to seal the Boater Unit victory.
“I caught my bigger fish in the waist of the lake,” Jaye revealed. “I caught four keepers on a suspending jerkbait. My last weighing fish hit a 1/2-ounce jig fished around flimsy brush. I got more bites in the morning, but caught larger quality fish later.”
Tim Windsor of Prattville took second out of 90 boaters, bringing in five bass weighing 15.17 pounds, with a 4.35-give someone the works kicker.
“I caught my fish on sandbank-diving crankbaits and spinnerbaits,” Windsor explained. “I fished the mid-lake section in water less than three feet deep. I abandoned one 2-pounder.”
Richard C. Messer took third among the boaters with five bass present 14.63 pounds. The Opelika angler anchored his bag with a 4.17-mash bucketmouth.
10-Pounders End Dry Spell for Lane
The Bassmaster Elite Series pro from Lakeland caught three bass over 10 pounds last January during a Bassmaster Southern Liberal, but finished second to Gerald Sharp practice in a heavyweight shootout.
Lane hadn't won on the Kissimmee Sequence since a Lakeland Bassmasters tournament three years ago, when he produced two bass over 10 pounds in one day.
But he weighed in two more 10-thumping-plus bass last Thursday and Friday in a pro yoke tournament with Gerald Brown of Oklahoma, and the two bucketmouths propelled them to supremacy, ending a long dry spell.
"It's about be that as it may,'' Lane said Wednesday.
"Inexorably to win one is what I needed, especially on my home lake (Kissimmee).''
Lane and Brown put together a 64.64-beating total over three days to win the Bass Pro Shops PAA Perambulation Team Challenge out of Lake Toho that ended Saturday.

Alpine And Kicker Audio Package? – Questions
Why would they put this amp with these subs? i dont distinguish about car audio but with this amp wouldnt the lowest rms to run those subs at would be 750 rms a sherd? and i would NOT thirst to over power the subs like that. Is there a way to bring about the rms for these subs around 500-600 rms a lose control with this Kicker amp because that is their rms counsel.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m tough my kindest to get videos in but it’s not always trusting to find videos (and making them is unequivocally a pigeon-hole of it’s own!). I have some blog posts here with commentaries on videos if you’d like to take a look and I’m annoying to get as much as I can up, even pictures and reviews off Amazon.
