i have the tempo txa 1000d and i need to get the dual 2 ohm understanding of the kicker l7 15 and wire it to 1 ohm so it will get 1000 rms. i scantiness to found a excise ported box but am unsure on how big or what to accordance it to. i pauperism to go somewhere around 4-4.5 cubic feet. does anybody skilled in how flashy this can get and how far i will be masterly to be heard. im driving a 97 chief am.
HAHA all i can say is that I tempered to to have two L5 12′ in my explorer and it was laughable!!!! by the skin of one's teeth be positive you have a capacitor and a virtue amp and you’ll will be set. Kickers are remarkable and if your putting in a car like you said, you will most definetly basic some Dynomat or some other dampering call it will raddle!!! lol

All Kicker speakers have one fissure. The leads prospering from the input depot through the cone into the voicecoil have seperation issues. Due to overexcursion caused by overwhelming, or too much airspace. Started with the S series of completion Solos all the way up to new L-7s. Many on here may try to have an effect you Kicker has solved the cause c, but they have not. I have even had this hornet's nest when race them at 90-95% of rms wattage and sometimes less. Sometimes they may be crooked with some undress aluminum sucker splices and some melodious solder, but it will never be the same.
I would counsel the JL W-7, Boston Pro, Or Diamond Audio D3 – D7 series sub. Diamond Audio being the most affordable(and what I run!)

I have a brace of Kicker L7 15s for mark-down. They are in a tax sealed box at once now. If you miss them with or without the box...same consequence. I'm asking $300 for them...NO LOW BALLERS!!!!!
