Does anybody back the kicker l7 15″ subwoofer.?

i have the swing txa 1000d and i be to get the dual 2 ohm variant of the kicker l7 15 and wire it to 1 ohm so it will get 1000 rms. i privation to figure a particularly ported box but am unsure on how big or what to attune it to. i prerequisite to go somewhere around 4-4.5 cubic feet. does anybody comprehend how flashy this can get and how far i will be masterly to be heard. im driving a 97 palatial am.

HAHA all i can say is that I acquainted with to have two L5 12′ in my explorer and it was humorous!!!! exactly be reliable you have a capacitor and a kind amp and you’ll will be set. Kickers are astounding and if your putting in a car like you said, you will most definetly stress some Dynomat or some other dampering provoke it will raddle!!! lol

All Kicker speakers have one chink. The leads accepted from the input monitor through the cone into the voicecoil have seperation issues. Due to overexcursion caused by overwhelming, or too much airspace. Started with the S series of series Solos all the way up to new L-7s. Many on here may try to discriminate you Kicker has solved the efflux, but they have not. I have even had this unruly when meet them at 90-95% of rms wattage and sometimes less. Sometimes they may be resolute with some reveal aluminum pigeon splices and some silvery solder, but it will never be the same.

I would second the JL W-7, Boston Pro, Or Diamond Audio D3 – D7 series sub. Diamond Audio being the most affordable(and what I run!)
