I have the same sub and I use an Insignia 1000 watt amp … I wouldn’t get anything higher than a thousand watt amp for that sub because it sounds beastly at 1000, at least in my sub box. If you can get the same brand name name (Sony), products of the same maker keep an eye on to trade well with each other. Faith I helped.
